Moustache aka Kumis

When i was browsing around i found this very interesting idea..
It's unique but maybe seems so familiar.. coz lately many people are making an artificial moustache as property for doing photoshoot, usually on a wedding as a gimmick to hold those "SMP" (Selesai Makan Pulang) guests a lil bit longer :p

But my idea is a lil bit different.. i think it will be nice if we create a fake moustache on a plain glass (as the one i have in the office), or any kind of glass that u think suitable for it.. Even the old one which lost its "glory":p

Anyway.. here are some inspirations i found on the net..

sorry i forgot the source:p

very creative isn't it?

Based on these picture as inspiration.. i created this moustache template to be used as basic pattern to draw the moustache on the glass ^^

it's the real size version - so u can just print it directly without need to resize it :p

But i also provide the bigger version, if only u have any other creative mind which need a bigger one^^

What u have to do is just save the image.. then print it and cut it..
Later u can use it as a basic pattern to draw on ur glass or any other material which cross ur mind.. Just let ur imagination flow.. and create something great^^

Next step is drawing.. my suggestion is using a marker, but remember u need a permanent one.. or else it will be washed off when u wash it.. u don't want it to be happen, right?:D But it doesn't mean u can't use any other type of ink.. u can try to use any ink that u think will be suitable for this, what u need to have in mind is.. that the ink must be un-washable and also un-toxic..

When drawing (with permanent marker - i haven't try another media), u might find the color not really stick well.. but no worries.. just let it dry and recolor it once more.. i repeated it for about 3 times until i found it looks okay:D During the recoloring, u might found problems like the ink seems not coming out but don't be panic.. theres nothing wrong with ur marker.. all u have to do is.. find some unused paper and draw some lines on it until the ink back to normal, then u can continue coloring :D

Next is.. let it dry, washed it to make sure its clean and ready to be used for drinking. Pour the water or juice or anything u want, and woalaahh.. ur glass is ready to be showed off^^
Make ur friends jealous with ur new glass^^ * GRIN *

Easy right? So what r u waiting for? go and give it a try :D

PS: Make sure u draw the moustache on the correct side of the glass.. i suggest u go to the mirror and pretending u are drinking and draw the moustache across ur lips..

"Metmencoba!" :D

another new idea

I got a campaign idea inspired by this article:

Actor “beyond shocked” after seeing leg amputated in altered ad

An overweight man in Los Angeles says he was "beyond shocked" to discover an altered photo of him on New York City billboards with his leg removed.

27-year-old Cleo Berry tells the New York Times that while living in NYC several years ago, he participated in a $500 photo shoot with photographer Morten Smidt. Unbeknownst to Berry, those photos were then sold to ImageSource, a stock photo company.
The stock photo was then sold to New York City's Department of Health, who digitally altered the photo to remove Berry's right leg and is using the photo as part of an anti-diabetes campaign.

"I cried at my computer screen for, like, a minute." Berry said of first seeing the altered photo. "I said: 'Oh my gosh, they even gave me crutches. Come on, people.' "
The health department said it's common practice to alter photos without the model's participation. And Berry agrees he signed a waiver before the shoot, allowing for such alterations and distribution.
"This issue isn't about one actor but rather the 700,000 New Yorkers who struggle with diabetes, which kills 1,700 people a year and causes amputations in another 3,000," said John Kelly, a spokesman for the health department, in a statement. "Advertising to warn the public about health concerns saves lives, and we will continue our efforts to warn New Yorkers about diabetes."
Berry said his main objection over the advertisement is how it could affect his acting career. "I've always wanted my photo in an ad all over the city, but I was hoping it would be for a TV show or something, not — this," Berry said.

And he's even willing to seek professional revenge, offering to lower his usual acting rate to any soda companies who might want to use his unaltered image in one of their campaigns.
"I'll sing and dance for them and I won't charge an arm and a leg," he said.

i got the idea to create a campaign in this kind of form:
we put an ad or ambiance with an incomplete body (ex amputated arm or leg) with blank face on it (or even we can emptied the head part so people can take pic and imagine being the person) plus wording "imagine if he/she is you"

i really excited to create the mock up.. but to bad.. i havent got enough time to do that T_T
